1. Essential mechanisms
The website saves your analytics choice in your device's localStorage under the name kempe-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. The entry contains your decision, the date, expiry date and settings version. It is used only to remember your choice, not to identify you for statistics or advertising. Rejection is remembered in the same way as consent. If you block browser storage, your choice applies only to the open page.
OpenAI / Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure may use technical mechanisms essential for security and handling traffic. These are not Kempe Studio advertising analytics. Their availability and duration depend on the infrastructure.
2. Optional analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics”, I enable Google Analytics 4, provided to EEA users by Google Ireland Limited. It measures page views, traffic sources, projects viewed, scrolling and clicks leading to contact. After a successful form submission, only the fact that an enquiry was passed on for sending is recorded — not the fields or message content.
Analytics uses pseudonymous identifiers stored in cookies _ga i _ga_…, which distinguish users and sessions. In the code, I set their lifetime to a maximum of 180 days, without automatically extending it on a return visit. Your browser may shorten this period. I do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalisation, session recordings or cursor heatmaps.
Google receives technical connection data, including browser and device information, and the activity data described above. Approximate location may be determined from the IP address. I do not share visitors' names, company names, email addresses or form messages. My custom analytics events omit URL query parameters and fragments; referrers are limited to the domain.
I use basic consent mode: without consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded, including so-called cookieless measurements. Access to the portfolio and form does not depend on accepting analytics.
3. Change or withdraw consent
You can open the settings below or “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. Choosing “Necessary only” stops further analytics and deletes the cookies accessible to this website _ga i _ga_…. Turning off analytics that is already running reloads the page to remove the loaded script too; unsaved form content may be lost.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Deleting cookies does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. You can contact the controller about your data rights, as explained in the privacy policy. You can also delete cookies and saved settings in your browser; on your next visit, the website will ask about analytics again.
4. CAPTCHA and the form
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against spam. The script loads only when you start using the form and analyses technical browser and device data. I do not enable Turnstile's pre-clearance feature. Details are provided in the Cloudflare Turnstile privacy policy. You can also email the address shown on the website directly.
While you type, your form data stays in the open page's memory — I do not save it in localStorage, sessionStorage or analytics. It is sent to the server and Resend only when you press the active “Send message” button. Copying accesses the clipboard only when you click.
5. Other links
This website has no Meta Pixel, ads, embedded maps or YouTube, Instagram or TikTok players. Social links open an external service only when clicked. Photos and graphics are delivered with the website, and fonts use your device's system.
