Hotel Stary Młyn, housed in a historic mill, sought a brand identity that would blend the property's rich past with modern amenities. The client's vision encompassed a logo, color palette, and stationery that captured the essence of the hotel – a peaceful retreat nestled in a building steeped in history, yet offering stylish, modern comfort.
Drawing inspiration from the hotel's architectural heritage, I created a logo that seamlessly blends a stylized mill wheel with clean, modern lines. This visual metaphor perfectly captures the hotel's core value: a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern luxury.
To further enhance the hotel's unique character, I carefully selected a color palette. A deep charcoal color serves as the base color, representing the building's historical significance and the solidity of the old mill structure. This base shade beautifully complements the logo's primary color, a vibrant mustard yellow. This warm hue evokes the natural elements of wood and stone often found in old mills, while also suggesting a touch of modern sophistication. Branding also extends to hotel stationery, such as letterhead and guest cards, which feature the logo and a harmonious color palette. This consistent visual identity reinforces the hotel's brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience.
